A bit about me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and earned both my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I have been in the field since 2018, and my clinical experience has ranged from providing grief support to families of hospice patients, mental health crisis intervention as an emergency room social worker, and psychotherapy as a staff counselor to clients working through anxiety and depression, self criticism, finding meaning after loss, navigating borderline personality traits, self-harm, and interpersonal relationship challenges.
My treatment approach is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Here are a few modalities I have received training in and theories used in my work:
Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Psychodynamic, attachment, and polyvagal theories
In my free time
I am likely to be enjoying the sunshine, playing music, water color painting, or spending time with my partner and our high energy pup.
